Frequently asked questions
What day is my bin cleaned?
Your wheelie bin is cleaned on your scheduled municipal refuse collection day, after the municipal truck has emptied the bin.
Do I need to be home?
No. You do not need to be at home. Simply ensure your bin is placed outside and is easily accessible on your scheduled service day. We take care of the rest.
What happens if my bin is not emptied by the municipality?
Bin Buddy is unable to empty your bin if the municipality has not done so — our service takes place after the municipal collection has been completed. If your bin has not been emptied, we will service it on the next available route day after it has been emptied by the municipality.
How am I charged?
Residents are invoiced in advance, on or around the 22nd of each month, for the applicable billing period.
